Advanced:  Able to design and create Freeze & Fuse projects independently; familiar with specialized tools and supplies.

Location: Frit Room

This event is ONLY for people who have already taken a Freeze & Fuse workshop and are comfortable doing the process on their own.  No instruction will be available.  This is just an opportunity to be able to complete the process and get your project into the kiln without having to repeat the workshop.  Does not count towards the fusing workshop limit for the month.

10:00 -11:00 am: Prepare the silicone mold of your choice and place the mold in the studio freezer.

1:30 - 2:00 pm: Remove the frozen frit from the mold and place it on a 6 x 6 tile prepared with lightly glued Papyros paper. These will be placed in the kiln immediately.

Supplies to bring:

* Silicone mold of your choice

* 6 x 6 tile covered with Papyros paper (LIMIT 1 TILE due to kiln space)

* P100 mask, safety glasses

* Your favorite colors of opal frit powder

* Small paint brush, needle nose quirt bottle, small spoon, such as a baby spoon

* Bring a firing ticket!
