Workshop Level: Advanced Beginner and up : Can cut glass, grind and place glass in a pattern. Little guidance is necessary. Familiar with the stained glass skills.

You will need frames to border this piece while fitting pieces. The piece measures 8'W X 12"L. It is banner shaped so the actual side is 10" long. Two 10" frames, one 8" frame and two 4-5" frames. Smaller frames can be put together. Various colors of glass are used. I used as many scrap pieces as I could. The first day/week will be constructing the piece, the second day is for soldering and patina. This gives you an opportunity to practice all those stained glass skills and coming out with a beautiful southwest piece.

General supplies to bring to class:

• Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)
• Other supplies: pattern scissors, regular scissors, frames, pins, flux, solder, patina
• Glass: various colors. Scraps could work just fine. Piece is 8X12.
• Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Silver Sharpie, Pencil
• Other helpful items: A carrying box for projects
• Safety Items: Safety glasses, Closed-toe shoes, Band-aids
