ALL LEVEL WORKSHOP

Beginner:  Learning how to cut basic shapes and follow a line; familiar with basic tools and supplies.  Fusers understand full, contour, tack, slump firing programs.

In this class you will have a choice between 2 different fish. Choose the colors for the fish you want to make.

You will need a 9x12 tile which can be checked out before the class.  Instructor will provide a template for each fish.

You will need 9 x 12 papyros paper for the tile which can be bought in the studio store (check in advance for availability) a sheet of 8 x 11 clear glass and any other glass color and embellishments you want to use for your fish. I will say 1 is on the easy side to make the other is on the harder side. Grinding glass for these fish is discouraged.  Students will be responsible for firing fees.

General supplies to have readily available for all workshops to be fully prepared:

- Glass cutting tools:  Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (quilt-type mats work best)

- Glues:  Elmer's (clear or white), needle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray
