Intermediate and above Workshop
Able to design and create simple projects with minimal guidance; trained on all studio equipment. Fusers are learning about special firing programs.

Day one:
Please bring at least one piece of 3mm clear at least 15" long & several smaller pieces that are opaque Southwest colors (turquoise, clay reds, burnt oranges, neutrals, greens, golds, etc). The picture shows a piece that is 2" wide (but the width is up to you). Also bring stringers, dots, noodles, glass paints, etc for fired embellishments. This finished piece can be hung (supplies will be included in workshop) or you can place it in a stand that you may already have.
Day two:
We will assemble the fired totem with backing & embellishments. Bring embellishments if you have them, or will be provided by instructors. Examples of embellishments are: feathers, leathers, beads, arrow heads, etc. Also bring E 6000 glue or epoxy if you plan to hang your piece.
Wissmach comes 10"x16" and is $10.50
Oceanside comes 12"x 24" and is $24.50
General supplies to bring to class:
* Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)
* Glues: Elmer’s (clear or white), Needle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray
* Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Pen & Pencil
* Other helpful items:Tweezers, Toothpicks, A carrying box for projects
* Safety Items: P-100 Mask, Safety glasses, Closed-toe shoes, Band-aids
* Bring a firing ticket!
