In this workshop you will be constructing and designing a colorful platter or bowl using just clear scrap glass and different colors of frit (see picture)

This is a new technique that you may have seen some members designing in the studio. In preparation for this workshop you will need to decide in advance on the size, shape, and mold number for your project.

You must have the following supplies for this workshop:

* COE 96 clear glass cleaned & cut to the size and shape of the mold you chose

* lots of COE 96 clear scrap glass to build open spaces (that will be filled with medium frit)

* at least 3 colors, or more, of medium frit to fill in the open spaces (You'll need a fair amount of each color.)

You will also need to bring the following general supplies listed below:

* Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)

* Glues: Elmer’s (clear or white), Needle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray
