Beginner Level Workshop: Learning how to cut basic shapes and follow a line; familiar with basic tools and supplies. Fusers understand full, contour, tack, slump firing programs.
This class will meet in the Frit Room, this technique uses wet glass enamel paint, a chain, and a medium to create flowing, organic shapes such as petals, feathers, and ferns.
General supplies to bring to class:
A $5.00 fee is due to the instructors at the beginning of the workshop for provided supplies.
* An exacto knife
* 4" x 6" clear COE96 glass x 2 (can be cut prior to class)
* Paper towels
* Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best
* Pen or Pencil
* A carrying box for projects
* Safety Items: P-100 Mask, Safety glasses, Closed-toe shoes
* Apron
* Gloves (form-fitting) if desired
* Bring a firing ticket!
