Intermediate Level Workshop:  Able to design and create simple projects with minimal guidance; trained on all studio equipment.  Fusers are learning about special firing programs.

Let's make an American Flag in time for the holidays!

Glass you will need to bring:

1 sheet of clear glass

1 sheet of red opaque glass, precut into seven 5/8"x12" strips and

1 sheet of white opaque glass precut into six  5/8"x12" strips

1 piece of dark blue glass, 4"x5"

Make enough dots to fill in for 50 stars (or, if you buy your own stars that will also work).

General supplies to bring to class:

* Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)

* Glues: Elmer’s (clear or white)

* Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Pen & Pencil

* Other helpful items:Tweezers, Toothpicks, A carrying box for projects

* Safety Items: Safety glasses, Closed-toe shoes, Band-aids

* Bring a firing ticket!

  If you want to fire your flag into a wave, the mold is RE 17.

  Cost is $3.50 for initial firing (and $3.50 for molding, if desired)
