MONITOR EQUIPMENT TRAINING

Great news! We are now providing new ways to help you train or retrain yourselves more easily and quickly on the ring saws and the grinders.

As monitors we need to be consistent with our knowledge of the correct way to use and clean our grinders and ring saws, along with the Beetle Bits.

We have two ways you can be retrained.

• In Studio hands-on training
• Our website – videos under the “Equipment Training”

Following either type of training you will need to complete a 12-point questionnaire, via the website. We are asking you to complete this training by May 1.

If you choose to take the In-Studio Class, here are the open sessions. Class sizes will be limited to 15.

These dates will be listed on the Glass Arts calendar, as "Monitor Equipment Training". Please sign up for one of the openings when you get your notification that the classes are available. These will come via email just like any other class.

The videos are short and fun and are a great tool to gain your certification. Whether you choose the in-studio or video trainings, it's up to your own comfort level.

All members are being asked to complete this same retraining/certification by June 15 of this year and every year after. We are hoping to have all monitors retrained prior to the rest of the membership this year.
