Open to all levels:  You will be making a glass hanging frame for displaying items you have already made or own.  You will learn about and practice cutting basic shapes with minimal guidance, designing and creating simple to complex projects, and following a line while becoming more familiar with tools and supplies.

You will need one piece of stained or mosaic glass 12x6 inches.

We will cut 3 pieces of glass, 12x2 inches each.

We will foil, flux and solder and we put the three pieces of glass together to make a frame.

I will have wire and we will make a hanger and solder the hanger on one piece of the glass and then solder the glass into a triangle.

I will bring patina in black or copper.

General supplies to bring to class:

• Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best).
• Foil, Solder, Flux.
• Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Pen & Pencil
• Other helpful items: Tweezers, Toothpicks, Carrying box for projects.
