BEGINNER LEVEL: Learning how to cut basic shapes and follow a line; familiar with basic tools and supplies.

This is a great activity for first timers or anyone wanting to learn the basic techniques and materials used in creating mosaics.
Create a colorful mosaic heart rock for your Valentine. This will add a fun accent to your garden or as a one-of-a-kind gift while learning the basics of mosaic design and application. An assortment of stained glass will be provided as well as stainless steel ball chain and grout.
Select and bring a smooth, flat river rock as the base that will fit your design. It should be at least 10-12" across inches in size. (River rock is available at Green Valley Decorative Rock, 670 W. Camino Verde.)
You may also chose to just do random placement of glass pieces, tesserae, and other embellishments. If you wish to use specific colors of glass we may not have, please bring those with you. You can also bring a second smaller base piece to decorate in case you finish early.
$10 is due to the instructor for club glass.
$2 is due to the instructor for streel ball and grout.
