STAINED GLASS DRAGONFLY

In this workshop, we will continue learning the copper foil method of stained glass. We will show you how to make a beautiful dragonfly suncatcher. The patterns will be provided. To make this project, you will need to bring 1 sheet of glass for the background, a half sheet of glass for the leaves, a quarter sheet for the wings, and a small piece for the body. The finished piece is 8” round.

You will need to bring all your tools and supplies such as:

•  Work board and tacks
•  Toyo cutter
•  Running Pliers
•  Grozers
•  60/40 solder
•  Gel Flux
•  Black backed copper foil and fid (1/4” or 7/32”)
•  Black Patina
• Flux brush and cup
• Toothbrush and cup
• Rubber gloves
• Carrying box for project
• Band aids
• Small towel
• Safety glasses

, members scheduled for a workshop must cancel their signup at least 48 hours in advance (with exceptions in the event of an emergency). If a member does not show up for a workshop, w/o proper notification given, they will be prohibited from registering for another workshop for 3 months.
