OPEN TO NEW MEMBERS

Have fun making beautiful dichro-based cabochons for jewelry or inclusion in your artwork while constructively using your scraps!

You will need:

• 1 6x6 firing tile (your own or check out from club)
• 1 6x6 kiln firing paper
• Dichro scraps of at least 1/2"- 1 1/4" each X 12
• (The smaller ones can be purchased at the club store for $3.50 a bag and larger bags can be purchased on Amazon or from SWAG)
• A 6x6 in piece of clear fusing glass or the equivalent in scraps.
• Light colored transparent glass scraps of 1/4"-1 1/4" size of many different colors as you would like.
• Needle-nosed bottle with aerosol hairspray (available in Club store) or Elmers clear glue.
• Tyro cutter
• Running Pliers
• Groziers
• A sandwich baggie

Remember closed toe shoes and safety glasses are required. Please wear your name badge.

Cancellation Policy:  To cancel a workshop, members must submit a cancellation notice to the website calendar administrator, at events.GVRAG@gmail.com

Effective June 1st, 2025, members scheduled for a workshop must cancel their signup at least 48 hours in advance (with exceptions in the event of an emergency).  If a member does not show up for a workshop , w/o proper notification given, they will be prohibited from registering for another workshop for 3 months.
