INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
We are going to make a Little Red Truck platter, approximately 6 x 12. Students will need to bring all glass & cutting tools. You can choose to make the truck with transparent or opal glass.
You will need:
These will be finished in a mold - please look at your mold options ahead of time, I like #14 & #24 - other molds might be ok, the finished size of the truck & tree should be approximately 4"x9" so that needs to fit into the center of your chosen mold. There will be 2 firings.
Supplies to have readily available for all workshops to be fully prepared: cutting tools, running pliers, grozers, nippers, Elmer's (clear or white), nNeedle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray, black sharpies (fine and regular), and tweezers, toothpicks, pen and pencil, P-100 mask, cutting surface (quilt-type mats work best). carrying box for projects, band-aids, and safety glasses.
