Using Fiber paper to elevate your unique glass firings. 

You have a choice of making a bird, flower, nightlight or a project small of your choice. We will also discuss the differences between using Fiber Paper versus Papyrus as you are discovering the intricacies of Fused Glass

Bring enough glass for your project This will be a good use for scrap glass as well. Also bring a 6x6 piece of clear or Transparent glass for a quick Kiln Firing project using fiber paper and items like dots, vitrograph, stringers, noodles, dichro or frit. We will have some of the extra embellishments for your use the day of the class.

Also bring Fiber Paper 2 (TWO) 1/8-inch 3X5 bought at our store in the Studio, price $.50 cents. Bring 1 (one) 6x6 1/4-inch fiber paper can be bought in our store, price $1.00.  

An example of this project will be in the lobby for your review.

Cancellation Policy: To cancel a workshop, members must submit a cancellation notice to the website calendar administrator at events.gvrgac@gmail.com.

Effective June 1st, 2025, members scheduled for a workshop must cancel their signup at least 48 hours in advance (with exceptions in the event of an emergency).  If a member does not show up for a workshop , w/o proper notification given, they will be prohibited from registering for another workshop for 3 months.
