Learn to cut Pattern Bars, scrap boxes, and thicker glass pieces with the new tile saw!

Bring your own project to cut.  You will learn to set-up and cut your own pieces with the tile saw.

Plan ahead for your sign-up time by preparing a glass project such as the Scrap Box or bring a previously made Pattern Bar.

We will schedule 15-minute sessions.  At this point we are scheduling one session a month, from 1:00-2:30 on Saturdays.   Watch for future announcements in your email.

Please register for the time you want.

You must tie long hair back.

Avoid wearing loose, long sleeve clothing or wearing a lanyard tag that could get caught in the saw.

Wear safety glasses, your name badge and closed toe shoes.

*Anyone that may be interested in learning the complete set-up and take down (cleaning) and the safe use of the tile saw, please let us know.  We would be happy for you to assist us!  

Cancellation Policy:  To cancel a workshop, members must submit a cancellation notice to the website calendar administrator at events.gvrgac@gmail.com.  If a member cancels, they will be given a refund if a replacement is found prior to the workshop date.  Refunds will be given for family or medical emergencies. 

Effective June 1st, 2025, members scheduled for a workshop must cancel their signup at least 48 hours in advance (with the exceptions in the event of an emergency). If a member does not show for a workshop, w/o proper notification given, they will be prohibited from registering for another workshop for 3 months.
