Want small flowers, leaves, and other fun shapes? Join us to learn freeze and fuse to make flowers, animals, leaves, etc. This will be a two - segment workshop ON THE SAME DAY. We will use opal powdered frit mixed with water in silicone molds which will then be frozen. We will take a break until 2:00pm then return to remove the items from the molds and place them on a 6x6 tile prepared with Papyros (kiln) paper. The tiles will go immediately into the kiln to be fired.
Project size is 6 x 6. There will be one (1) firing.
You will need to bring:
A P100 mask (no exceptions) The disposable version can be ordered on Amazon or purchased at the GAC store. Check store hours!
Your favorite colors of COE 96 opal powdered frit (can be ordered at Southwest Art Glass) Note: Check order & delivery dates. Also available on Amazon, Delphi Glass, and Etsy.
Note: Transparent powders (non-see through) do not always work as well as opals.

- An old electric toothbrush if you have one available.
- A small spoon such as a baby spoon
- A 6 x 6 tile (if you have one) or check ahead in the studio and sign one out.
